Rural guest house in Catasueiro
The refurbishment of this house was carried out with a public grant awarded by the Axencia Galega de Desenvolvemento Rural (Agader) under the Leader measure of the Rural Development Programme (PDR) of Galicia 2014-2020, sub-measure 19.2, 2023-2024 call, through Rural Development Group 18 — Asociación de Desenvolvemento Local Deloa.
Purpose of the project
To restore a traditional stone house in the hamlet of Catasueiro (Outes) and bring it into use as a rural guest house, creating employment in the countryside and making the most of the built heritage of the area.
Results
Four rooms with private bathrooms, a shared kitchen and sitting room, a heated indoor pool and a garden, open all year round. The project includes information and communication technologies, water-saving systems and low-energy solutions, and involves creating and maintaining jobs locally.
