Catasueiro 42, Outes<\/h1>\n

We are at the head of the Ría de Muros e Noia, 1 km from Broña beach and 2 km from O Freixo harbour. There is free private parking on the grounds.<\/p>\n

Satnavs tend to send people down very narrow lanes that lead nowhere. From the AC-550 roundabout it is four turns and you are here. Save this map to your phone before you set off: the signal is poor on the last stretch.<\/p>\n

  1. From Santiago on the AC-554<\/strong>, as far as the roundabout with the AC-550.<\/li>\n
  2. At the roundabout, third exit<\/strong>: the road down to Broña Beach.<\/li>\n
  3. First turning on the right<\/strong>. From there you will see the Arume signs.<\/li>\n
  4. Follow the road between the houses to the end. If you reach the beach, you have missed the turning.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    By car<\/p>\n

    The practical way to get here<\/h2>\n

    From Santiago de Compostela<\/strong> the natural route is the AG-56 dual carriageway to Noia and then the AC-550 towards Muros: 43 km, about 25 minutes. The last stretch is a narrow but surfaced village road; with a sat-nav you will not get lost.<\/p>\n

    Coming from the north, Santiago is the reference point. The coast road is prettier, but a good deal slower.<\/p>\n

    Santiago-Rosalía de Castro<\/h2>\n

    The airport is 51 km away, about 35 minutes. The practical thing is to hire a car there, or take a taxi: public transport to Outes is sparse, and once you are here you will want to move around the estuary.<\/p>\n

    By train and bus<\/p>\n

    As far as Noia by bus<\/h2>\n

    Trains run to Santiago de Compostela. From the bus station there is a regular service to Noia<\/strong>, 9 km from the house.<\/p>\n

    Those last 9 km are a taxi ride. Timetables for the line can be checked on the Monbus<\/a> website, the company that runs the route.<\/p>\n

    Registration is done online, before you arrive<\/strong>: we send you a link to fill in the guest details, so there are no forms to sign and no reception desk to wait at.<\/p>\n

    Check-in is 3 pm to 10 pm and check-out until 12 noon. Entry is by code, which we send the day before.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

    What is close by<\/p>\n

    The beach, a short walk away<\/h2>\n

    Just 1 km from Arume, a quiet fifteen-minute walk takes you to Broña, a wide beach with a lifeguard.<\/p>\n

    The harbour is 2 km away, three minutes by car or twenty-five on foot. There you will find good restaurants for the fish and shellfish of the day, facing the sea.<\/p>\n
